Which government administers the public basin?
LA County Public Works describes Marina del Rey as an unincorporated community and Oxford Basin as a county flood-control retention facility of approximately 10.7 acres. The public basin contains a mix of urban runoff, groundwater and tidal inflows from the harbor. Those facts do not describe water inside any home.
Does the basin's existence give a parcel risk rating?
No. Ready LA County directs residents to FEMA's official address map and local sources. The appropriate map depends on the actual address and effective product; neither inquiry ZIP is rated on this website.
Stay away from the affected area, do not touch electrical switches, outlets or appliances near water, and call a professional. If anyone is in danger, leave the area and call 911.
What still requires an individual answer?
The cause and extent of any indoor wetness and whether a provider accepts a particular inquiry. The service questions are about observed materials, not claims that every property faces harbor water.
Calls go to voicemail, not a live provider. Messages are recorded and transcribed after the greeting. You can email us instead.
